AquAid at Hoar Cross Hall
It is a sobering thought that whilst we talk about rehydration in terms of maintaining performance in the gym, water is a priceless resource in so many parts of the world.
Which is why we’re honoured to bring news of our relationship with AquAid. To date, this fantastic organisation has built over 8,000 water pumps across parts of Zimbabwe, Malawi and Liberia, donating over £15 million to charity in the process. If you have just a couple of minutes, this video shows AquAid’s wonderful work.
By using AquAid for our water coolers, we’re donating to the Africa Trust. These funds are used to build Elephant Pumps, which are a modified version of an age-old Chinese rope pulley system. One such pump is currently being installed in Africa on our behalf, bringing a source of fresh water to many villagers.
Hoar Cross Hall’s name will be proudly displayed on our well, which gives us a lovely, direct link to those using it. We look forward to bringing you a photo and more information from the villagers in the near future.
